This workshop is the second in a series of workshops that helps TAs develop a foundation of critical reflection on teaching with technology. This workshop focuses on helping you start the process of deciding when and how to incorporate technology into your teaching, and how to determine what and when to use it. Does a “flipped classroom” make sense for you? If you’re teaching online, are you best served by replicating what you’d do in the classroom, but putting lectures online, or should you employ a different strategy. Before you learn how to use various technologies, you need to decide for yourself how your teaching would benefit from using technology at all. This workshop helps you move to this way of critically reflecting on your teaching practice.
