Pros and Cons of Flipping an Undergraduate Science Course

By a "flipped" classroom people generally mean that classroom time is spent working on experiential engagement (projects, team activities, etc.) and out of class time is spent watching instructor (or other) prepared videos, other readings/research to answer the questions (or set up questions) to be addressed in class. You also want to extend class time through communication outside of class. The flipped model incorporates active learning and a "learner-centric" perspective.
