Maker Education Initiatives: The View from MAET and MSU Libraries

In this session, the presenters are going to share their definition of "The Maker Movement," especially in the contexts of higher education and library settings. They will provide ideas and exemplars for MSU colleagues that can then be used to bring more "making" into curricula/programs. The presenters will also share their first-hand insights from their maker work in the Master's of Educational Technology Program and the MSU Libraries.

This session will be of interest to all who are interested in learning about the “Maker Movement.” It will also be of interest to all who are considering added a “Maker” component to their classes and programs.
