In this course, participants will develop a proposal for a Teaching-As-Research (TAR) project. The course may work in conjunction with “Advancing Learning through Evidence-Based STEM Teaching” (the CIRTL spring MOOC) to extend that course to support participants in their development of a full TAR project. Students will be guided through:

  • A literature review
  • TAR question development
  • Institutional Review Board applications
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis methods
  • Proposal development
