Creating an Inclusive Research Environment - Overview

Discussion: At higher education institutions, teaching and learning communities can be found in a variety of diverse environments. This session explores and unpacks the macro and micro aggressions that may consciously or unconsciously find their ways into STEM research environments. The session provides participants tools and methods that can be utilized to ensure learning communities are open and conducive to learners of all backgrounds, creating research environments where all can participate, engage, contribute and be productive.
