Kearns-CIRTL Graduate Fellows in physics and engineering will describe their experiences working with high school students
on design projects. They will also discuss techniques for dealing with a wide variety of diversities in the classroom (including ethnicity, language, age, educational background, relative numeracy and literacy, and other cultural markers that shape the way
individuals process learning) as well as how to apply these techniques different teaching environments.
