HOW PEOPLE LEARN: A COGNITIVE SCIENCE PERSPECTIVE

This past spring semester Michigan State University's Center for Academic and Future Faculty Excellence hosted an event called How People Learn: A Cognitive Science Perspective. A panel of nationally known experts in cognitive science discussed what current basic research in learning and memory can contribute to classroom instruction. The panelists presented, from the perspective of their disciplines, popular views about best classroom practices and optimal delivery of college level instruction.
